A comprehensive and flexible security suite
Rising Internet Security is a complete security suite that protects your system from viruses and other kinds of attacks. It features a number of systems to monitor the various processes of your PC.
Like most anti-virus applications, Rising Internet Security offers real time analysis of what's coming into and out of your PC, and you can also choose to scan anything whenever you want. It recommends a full scan on installation, which is a lengthy process, but ensures faster scanning in the future and that Rising Internet Security starts with clean drives.
It's a very flexible program that allows you to define most of its functions and get the type of protection you want. In general it feels like a helpful program - some anti-virus suites take over Windows and flood you with warnings and processes, and don't let you get on with using your computer. Rising Internet Security is much lighter, and less obtrusive.
As well as being generally light on system resources, with Rising Internet Security you can further free up your computer by disabling any processes you don't need. Overall, it's a comprehensive and really usable security suite.
Rising Internet Security is a great suite, and the three month trial means anyone can give it a go.

excellent security suite.
excellent security suite. don't go by what random websites say about it. use it as free trial and then decide for yourself. as random people opinions cannot be trusted, I won't discourage or encourage people about this security suite. But to me it is very satisfying and does protect computer
Pros:
Very cheap price. 23 dollars an year for security suite and about 16 dollars for antivirus an year. Has a bandwidth occupied meter as well as download speed meter and upload speed meter. This is never seen in any other AV. The lion icon is silly but still very funny. Very neat and beautiful interface. Very strong firewall. Its firewall is only beaten by kaspersky, bitdefender, zone alarm, and comodo. It beats the rest.
Cons:
does not detect EICAR file. However EICAR is not a virus and harmless. Does not indicate when the last update occurred. The update is silent and automatic but there is no time stamp for the last update More
